Gergely Barna

In my courses, I combine a unique blend of high-level technical expertise in areas such as game development and robotics with deeply personal insights on digital well-being to equip young people for a thriving modern life.

My journey with technology began in primary school, where I fell in love with building Arduino robots. I grew up with soldering irons and lines of code, so I understand the curiosity and excitement that drives young minds to create. This passion led me to teach FPV drone and robot building at summer camps for three years, where I learned how to make complex topics engaging and accessible. Coupled with my BSc in Computer Science, my experience at a multinational company provided a strong foundation in programming as well as a clear understanding of real-world industry needs.

However, my relationship with technology wasn’t always balanced. I went from excessive gaming in my childhood to becoming a workaholic in high school and later getting lost in social media at the beginning of university. This led to a point of burnout. Over the past four years, I embarked on a journey to understand these patterns. Through psychology courses, many books, and countless conversations with young people, I learned to transform these coping mechanisms into constructive habits.

In my courses, I combine my passion for technological innovation with the critical lessons I’ve learned about digital well-being. My goal is to empower you not only to build amazing things but also to cultivate a healthy, intentional relationship with your phone.
