Borbála Timár is a media literacy education specialist, working for various for- and nonprofit organizations in the fields of education technology and media literacy. She is an experienced teachers’ trainer, and a key developer of media literacy educational materials. She began her career as a secondary school teacher and has developed media education materials since 2011. She is currently a PhD Candidate at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest.
