You don’t need to travel to London to feel the spirit of English culture — you just need a cup of curiosity and a taste for discovery.
Concept by Chris White
Experience the English way of learning — where language, culture, and creativity meet over tea, storytelling, and shared laughter.
This Erasmus+ course invites educators to learn and feel English through stories, drama, and cultural exploration.
It’s not about grammar drills — it’s about rhythm, humour, and connection.
Through dialogue, art, and British cultural symbols, participants rediscover the joy of learning and teaching with empathy and imagination.
For teachers and educators who:
• love creative, human-centred language learning
• want to explore culture and communication through play and stories
• are open to learning English in an authentic, joyful way
• value humour, collaboration, and cultural connection in teaching

Learning through culture and everyday English
Storytelling and theatre as language tools
Art, humour, and dialogue as bridges for understanding
Language becomes more than communication — it becomes connection.
Grammar hides in laughter, rhythm, and shared curiosity.
Learning feels as real and warm as a good conversation over tea.
Day 1 – Tea, Talk & Teamwork
Welcome to English the British way — with humour and curiosity.
Warm-up games, introductions, and short scenes help participants find their voice and rhythm in English.
Day 2 – Stories in Motion
Through storytelling, role-play, and improvisation, language becomes alive.
Learn to express meaning, tone, and feeling — not just vocabulary.
Day 3 – Culture in the Classroom
Discover how everyday cultural elements (music, art, traditions) inspire creative lessons.
Create small projects based on British life and idioms — “It’s not my cup of tea,” literally and metaphorically.
Day 4 – The Art of Small Talk
Master the subtle magic of English conversation — politeness, understatement, and humour.
Simulate real-life social encounters: classroom coffee breaks, staffroom chats, and travel stories.
Day 5 – Shakespeare to the Streets
Explore short excerpts from English theatre and film, then create mini “modern” adaptations.
Finish the day with a British evening — tea, songs, and a friendly quiz on culture and idioms.
Day 6 – Reflections over Tea
Reflect on your learning journey, share your favourite “aha” moments, and receive your certificate.
Celebrate language as connection — not perfection.
Discover how culture, humour, and curiosity make English come alive.
Join us in Hungary — and let your learning feel as easy as conversation over tea.
