A creative Erasmus+ teacher training course in Hungary – where teaching with images becomes an unforgettable experience.
Concept by Bianka Katalin Kóra
Imagine this. Your students’ eyes light up because a single image makes them understand what words could not. It’s not just any image – it’s the one you created. For them.
Learning Through Images is a 6-day Erasmus+ teacher training course in Hungary that takes you far beyond the classroom. In Budapest, Szeged, or Békéscsaba, you’ll learn how to create and use images as powerful teaching tools – not from behind a desk, but through movement, storytelling, and real-world discovery.
Whether you’re in the vibrant streets of Budapest or walking by the river in Szeged, you’ll capture more than photos – you’ll capture ideas worth sharing.
For educators who want more than PowerPoints.
For teachers who believe creativity is contagious.
For those who want to teach not only with words, but with meaningful visuals.
Ideal for:
Language: English (Serbian and Hungarian upon request)
Locations: Budapest, Szeged, Békéscsaba – Hungary

Day 1 – Visual Introductions & Team Building
Get to know each other with visual games, explore what images do in education, and prepare for the week.
Day 2 – Outdoor Photo Walks
Discover Hungary while capturing photos for your own lesson. Practice storytelling through real scenes.
Day 3 – Edit & Create
Use free tools (Photopea, Canva) to bring your visuals to life. Make posters, add meaning, and build learning materials.
Day 4 – Explore AI & Ethics
Try out Bing Image Creator or Ideogram.ai, and discuss the future of images in education: creativity vs. manipulation.
Day 5 – Design Your Own Visual Activity
Use everything you’ve learned to plan a real learning moment – a photo challenge, a reflection walk, a poster lesson.
Day 6 – Present & Reflect
Showcase your work in a relaxed, informal “marketplace,” reflect together, and go home ready to teach with images.
Your Erasmus+ mobility can be more than a trip.
It can be an experience that changes how you teach – and how your students learn
